Lars entered the military after his school years. He did nine months of basic military duty in the Kongelige Livgarde, an infantry regiment that is part of the Danish army. After finishing his military service Lars decided that this wasn't what he was looking for and began seeking out something else. He decided to pursue a degree in biology. Anette returned from a juggler's course and showed Lars just how much she could juggle in three days, even though Lars was already working for half of a year. Lars was thrilled and was keen to give it a go. So he dropped out of college and went to the juggler's academy as well. There he learnt the art of juggling and fire breathing, along with other skills. He then traveled with two of his buddies across Europe performing as touring artists performing in cities such as Paris, Munich and Moscow. He was introduced to a kids' circus two more years later. The circus also taught him street and children's theater pantomime.
